Mondragó Natural Park

You can get to the park by car or bus from Cala Ferrera, Cala d’Or and Portocristo. It is only 6 km away from Cala d’Or. Once you’re there you can choose between 5 routes of between 30 to 45 minutes, ideal to do with kids because of its accessibility and the amount of animals that you can see during your walk through the park.

From S’Almunia to Cala Màrmol

This trip ends in an ideal tiny bay with crystalline waters. It is also suitable for inexperienced hikers, and even for kids. It is important, though, that you not go there during the daytime because of the sun, and take some water with you. There is barely any shade during the trip and you could get tired. It is a total of 12 km going and coming back, a flat terrain with barely any hills and constant sea views of Santanyí. It’s an excellent option since it combines a trip with the best reward: a refreshing swim in Cala Màrmol.

Santueri Castle

Located in Felanitx, just 30 minutes from Cala d’Or by car, the impressive Santueri castle is waiting to give you a panoramic view that will stick in your mind forever. It’s suitable for kids since it’s not very difficult, is about 60 minutes and it is safe. This is one of the three ‘roquers’ castles (built in the rock itself) on the island, along with the Rei castle in Pollença and castle of Alaró.
